# Hermes Agent

> Give Hermes Agent long-term memory with the Maximem Vity plugin.

Hermes Agent gets memory through the Maximem Vity plugin, which recalls relevant context before each turn and captures the conversation after each turn, so the agent remembers users and projects across sessions. The API key, configuration and troubleshooting are on the Vity page.
