# OpenClaw

> Give OpenClaw long-term memory with the Maximem Vity plugin.

OpenClaw gets memory through the Maximem Vity plugin, which recalls relevant memories before each turn and stores conversation context after it. The API key, configuration, slash commands and troubleshooting are on the Vity page.
